1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your preferences, identify you across sessions, and analyze how the Platform is used.

We also use similar technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, and small identifiers in browser storage, which serve functions equivalent to cookies.

2. Types of cookies we use

2.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These are essential for the Platform to function. Without them we could not provide basic services such as sign-in, booking management, or secure navigation.

• sb-access-token / sb-refresh-token (Supabase): identify your authenticated session. They expire on sign-out or token expiry.
• NEXT_LOCALE: remembers the selected language (es / en).
• __Host-CSRF cookie: prevents cross-site request forgery attacks.

These cookies do not require prior consent.

2.2 Functional cookies

Allow us to remember preferences and improve the user experience.

• dakki-location-permission: remembers whether you authorized browser geolocation.
• dakki-ui-prefs: stores interface preferences such as dashboard sidebar state.

2.3 Analytics and improvement cookies

Help us understand how the Platform is used so we can improve the product. Data is processed in aggregate form when possible.

• Internal analytics: we log searches performed (query, approximate location, language, whether results were found) in our own database, without sharing with advertising third parties.

2.4 Third-party cookies

The following external services may set their own cookies when you interact with elements embedded in the Platform:

• Google Maps: when using the business map or address autocomplete (see Google’s privacy policy).
• Stripe: when completing a subscription payment (see Stripe’s cookie policy).
• Cloudflare: for security and performance of images hosted on R2.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, etc.) on the main site.

3. How long do cookies stay?

• Session cookies: automatically deleted when you close the browser.
• Persistent cookies: remain until their expiry date or until you manually delete them. Most expire between 30 days and 1 year.

4. How can you manage cookies?

You can accept, reject, or delete cookies at any time from your browser settings. Helpful links:

• Microsoft Edge

Important: if you reject strictly necessary cookies, some Platform features may not work properly. For example, you would not be able to sign in or complete bookings.

5. Local storage (localStorage / sessionStorage)

We use browser local storage to temporarily save data that improves the experience, such as form progress or last-search state. This data stays only on your device and is not automatically sent to our servers.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the Platform or applicable regulations. The current version is always available on this page.
